The AKD1000 M.2 Card B+M Key is BrainChip's edge AI accelerator card, powered by the Akida AKD1000 neuromorphic processor. Designed in the M.2 2260 B+M Key form factor, it integrates seamlessly with Raspberry Pi 5 and other compatible host systems to deliver low-power, high-performance neural network inference at the edge.

Akida M.2 Card, powered by AKD1000 IC with an ARM M.4 CPU plus 20 Akida 1.0 event-based processing NPUs in a mesh. Akida M.2 AKD1000 Card accelerates CNN-based neural network models using BrainChip’s ultra energy-efficient, and purely digital, event-based processing architecture.

The Akida M.2 AKD1000 B+M key can be paired with a Raspberry Pi 5 Single-Board Computers to enable edge AI applications. It’s low power consumption supports the creation of very compact, low-power, portable and intelligent devices for remote sensors in Healthcare, Enterprise, Industrial, Smart Office, Store and AIoT applications.
